Routine

I don’t like routine, but routine is good. It’s useful. It tells you what to do and when to do it. And it ensures everything that should be taken care of is taken care of.

How much easier my life would be if I had succumbed to routine earlier.

But no, I am not a good candidate for a ‘perfect housewife’. It’s not good for my image. Though on the other hand, being house-proud is good for my pride.

And I am one who prioritizes pride over image. Because my pride is my image XD.

Anyway.

Yesterday, despite not having any classes, I had to go to college in the morning to update my student file. It was a completely waste of time, as my paperwork is in order from the beginning. Never trust them when they didn’t ask you for something like your SPM results because at the end of the day, they will look for it.

On my own initiative, I wrote a letter of exemption, and made extra copies of all essential certificates and documents. It paid off. And I would appreciate it if people would staop asking me why am I not taking this or that subject for next semester.

Am I the only one who didn’t fail my previous papers and joining this degree program from year 1 sem 1?

These diploma students are just making things difficult for themselves.

And although A-Levels and Foundation are esentially pre-university courses, they not the same, thank you.

We did a presentation last Monday, as I had mentioned before. If you want my honest opinion, my group’s slides looked the most professional.

I mean really, you do not use a Jokerman font as texts, especially when it’s yellow on a black background. And never blame your audiences when they can’t see your presentation well. It’s your job as the presenter to make it work, not your audiences.

Amatuers.

And please, please, please, please! Just use the automatic font colors of your respective slide template! The templates’ colour combination were made so they work well together! Unless you’re a genius (which these people obviously are not), DO NOT CHANGE THE COLOR!

HUFF HUFF HUFF…

And if you’re in doubt, just use, or start, with a plain white background and black text. And pictures are more interesting than colorful background.

Personally, I like white background and plain black texts. The point is to make it look profesional, not like a highschooler who had just discovered powerpoint for the first time.

My group’s slides were made by yours truly, and I believe there’s a certain art to doing it. Like, if you know you are going to have lots of information on, use plain texts and background. Cut them into sections, and add pictures. I like to use the simple white templates or one with a soft background color. The point is that you want your slides to stand out, for people to easily read your stuff. I will take it upon myself if my slides are messy and unreadable.

More people should take pride in their work if you ask me.

And of course, although the lecturer didn’t say it out loud, in his heart of hearts I could tell he thinks our group was the best. That’s because he kept saying how complete our information was, and how well everything was laid out *ego masturbates*.

I am content, considering about half of the slides were only done one hour prior.

Honestly, I’m glad to be the one who’s able to pull off something like this, in the last minute as elegantly as it did, but I could really do without the stress.

When in doubt, sleep. Let your mind defrags and prepares for the coming seemingly unsurmountable tasks ahead.

I have class. Need to shower. Ta’ra!
