My Pick Up Skillz
My mother suddenly appeared yesterday, on her rendezvous from Saudi Arabia for Umrah back to Kuching. She left me some stuff. Honestly, I think these things were just left for me as an afterthought because they would be too heavy to bring back home.
Anyway, here’s what she left: a box of dates, and two boxes of turkish delight.
It’s been a long time since I had some of those. And the fasting month is coming! I have dates - sweet XD!
I bummed her taxi ride that took me straight to KL Central where I take my bus. On the bus, I saw this girl who had the appearance of a very polite and proper person.
I spotted her since she first got on the bus. And she stood, since there was no more seat. Not long after, I decided to join her coz I got up when I saw an old woman boarded the bus. The woman promptly took my seat and I took the chance to worm closer to the said girl.
I was yearning to make a connection with a random stranger that day, you see. So I screened my mind for the best pick up line I could use. Can you believe it? I was going to pick up a girl! On the bus!
The hilarity of it amuses me.
So then, it was raining. So my pick up line was:
"Do you think this rain will last till night?"
And that did it. I spoke to her gradually. Asking basic stuff, and figuring out that she was going to stay at her friend’s place, looking down at her ‘luggage’. I’m sorry I peeped into your bag :|. It was wide open.
We alighted at the same bus stop and parted ways. Man, did you know how easy it is for a girl to pick up a girl? If it was a guy I would look at him strangely and move away slowly.
After all, it’s a fact that girls are generally more trustworthy than guys :P.
Anyway, this picking up thing is kinda addictive. I saw a handsome ang moh on the same bus trip, and he just got out of the mosque from Friday prayer *wink*.
If this girl wasn’t there, guess who my target would be eh?
If you guys want my advice on picking up girls, ask general questions first, and look as if you’re annoyed at something, and looking to her to share that same annoyance, like your worry for the rain, maybe. And ASK NAME LAST!!
And for the record, I did finally asked the girl what’s her name. Although it would have been fine if I hadn’t known.
Ah well, I’ll bring my camera around next time hehe.
Ta’ra!
p/s I am so enjoying my new purple nail polish.
