I Wonder…

I was thinking, would it be too late for me to take up journalism? I mean, would it even be "right" for me to take up a course other than business? Since high school, I always knew I was destined to do business and get lucratively rich doing it too. Or die trying. But perhaps because I already learned a lot on my own prior to taking the course I felt some of the stuff boring. All the same, journalism and language is something very close to my heart. I like to write, obviously. :/

Then I thought, I’d feel very out of place in a course other than business. Imagine me taking up engineering! *gasp* Never!

So then, I start thinking, if you know, my studies go without a hitch (means I’m not repeating any subjects or whatever), then I’d be graduating mid 2009, and I’ll be only 22. I’ll be one of those early-graduates and people are sure to bug me about getting a freaking MASTERS! Do I even need to spell it out I have no plans of furthering my studies to masters and to PhD?!

ALTHOUGH! Now I may make an exception. It’s just that I’m not heading to that direction. So instead of a Masters degree and whatnot, I’ll be taking a diploma after I got my degree! How’s that? It’s only 2 years and a half, not much difference from a Masters degree, right? And I may take journalism if I want to. There’s even an institute close to where I live in KL so I don’t have to travel far, and saves on accomodation, eh? :D

Then I also wonder if you could postpone the repayment of your study loans because you are continuing your studies?

I heard such things can be arranged.

I wonder…

Ta’ra.
