Contenment At Its Best!

In my last post I talked of a Telenovela. It’s been a week since then and I no longer follow that Telenovela hehehe. This is due by several reasons.

1) I’ve been going out and to the movies :D. That is correct!! On Thursday I had my share of cheesecake at Bing’s, and the next day I watched the Earth get plagued by aliens twice! This means I finally caught Fantastic Four and later that night watched Bumblebee and the Autobots in action. I have to agree with Me. Bumblebee is a charming robot. The fact that he wasn’t as visually appealing as he should be was more than made up by his bubbly personality. Even two days later I could still hear gunshots in my head. I WANT A SEQUEL!!!

If not I’d love to watch the movie again :D.

2) I finally got an exchange on my FF12 disc. And my new disc is working perfectly. So far.Still, I made a point of saving game whenever I pass through a save point. :/ Ignorance can be…painful.

3) I am refreshed from my writer’s block. It’s a good thing I’m playing game again. They always fill me with renewed vigour to write. And it’s no bloody fanfic.

4) It’s the holidays so what else to do but be content?

Yesterday I had an 11+ straight hour of gaming. I started at about 3:45 pm, and ended at 3 am. By then I was just…bored by it. If I don’t play today I will spend the time writing instead.

FF12 is an awesome game so far. It’s modeled like its MMORPG prodecessor FF11. I  thought I’d hate it since it’s not turn-based like all the previous FFs and even Suikoden. But it’s actually not bad. With turn-based, you usually just press auto on all the normal encounter and have to put up with their victory and item/loot screen after each battle, which can be annoying when you’re in a long dungeon. Still, turn-based, though it can grow boring at times, is secure. I like to be secure O_O.

I had just checked the game’s guides today, out of curiosity. I normally like to blunder my way through a game my own way, and discovering things by accidents, and do a clean sweep during my second playthrough. But I like to get the best ending the first time around and some endings can only be achieved by fulfiling certain requirements. As far as the guides are concerned, there seems to be only one ending to the game. And that is the way I prefer it. Multiple endings are annoying :/. They say ‘multiple’ but there’s really only one good ending. The other two are either a glorified ‘game over’ or a make up, average ending where the world is saved and everyone lives (or almost everyone).

And I can’t quite place who’s playing with accents when it comes to the characters voice acting! Is it the Japanese? Or the Americans who do the English voice. I mean, look at the Imperials. They have a slight British accent to their speech, while some Imperials even have a weird Scottish accent! But the funniest must be those Skycity people. They have an INDIAN accent!! OMG so funny!!!

The funniest thing must be because they were actually very serious!! It’s hard to take people seriously when they are speaking English with an Indian accent deliberateIy. But of course for these people it’s ‘natural’. Still, can’t stop me from laughing.

Ta’ra!
