Yee ‘O Lost Souls

Like, OMG my life is so NOT right, right now. Like, I have this thing you know, going on in the next class, compile something or other. Like, wouldn’t that lecturer chill? I mean, I have to complete these two 3000 words essay, three reports to prepare, all at least 20 pages! I hate this sem!!

And they are ALL group work!

But it’s a good thing there’s Gary. Gary is eh…convinient.

(Gary I’m giving you a compliment so you’d better be nicer to me!!)

And there’s the mid-terms and a presentation. GAAH!! I feel like ripping off something or someone into small pieces and throw them into the well where the tadpoles will eat them slowly.

But you know? I realized there’s no point in agonizing over things. Stop thinking and just get the hell over it. I can do it. Yeah I can. Don’t believe me? WATCH me. I shall awe you wordless.

And I can’t wait to watch more NANA and Bleach. The agony of waiting is killing me. Killing me slowly. If this agony doesn’t, the tadpoles will. Tadpoles are evil creatures.

I shall prevail with flying colors and pigs. For the sake of them flying piggies I shall awe you still. And besides, what’s not to awe about pigs that fly anyway?

One day, I shall marry a male chauvinist. Not a sword, not an idiot. But a 67% chauvinist. Don’t ask why. At least male chauvinists can lead me better than Gary.

Oh, I really miss Kaoru. Kaoru is hot. His hair is not purple anymore, but at least he has a goatee and I really dig his goatee. Guys should spurt goatees if they want to attract girls. But please don’t if you’re not hot like Kaoru.

Now I shall sleep and recuperate. For the new week shall start with an umph!

p/s Happy April Fool’s Day Totchi! xD And I totally stole Kennysia’s idea! Wahahahaha.

For the last few days I realized that I have become Just One Very Bored Individual (JOVBI).

Because!!…I went around looking for a batch of manga to read. I found 56 chapters of Love Monster and downloaded all of them. It was direct download and after stoptazmo.com didn’t let me download anymore after 4 files, I went and found another site with the same listing. Since you can direct download only two files at a time, the going was…slow and steady. But it sucks when you missed just 1 freaking MB and the whole thing gets corrupted and you have to re-download them. *growls*

But yesterday was better. I downloaded from both websites so I got four downloads going on at once! That’s twice as fast. Hehehehehehe.

And now that I have finished reading all the available chapters…my life felt meaningless again. So then I watched Hana Yori Dango LA 2 the last ep and was happy for a while. And then I finally went back to AnimeSuki and downloaded all the animes that I have been procrastinating on downloading.

I also found out Shounen Omyouji had been lisenced and it has been removed from AnimeSuki’s series list and thus, the lack of update. But you see, fansub groups rarely just drop a project because the anime is lisenced, unlike scanlation groups. So I went to the group’s website and voila! Three new episodes released back to back! Wahahahaha!

I noticed that fansub groups do not just drop the project immediately. Since DVD anime releases go by episode, like, 3-4 eps per DVD, the fansub groups only stop distributing the released episodes, but would still continue to fansub the consequent, yet-to-be-released-on-DVD episodes. Which is fine by me, heheheh. And besides, by then, there would be a lot of people who have the torrents and the files and they could go to places like torrentz.com or boxtorrents.com where completed and lisenced animes/manga are openly shared. *grins*

Also, I think only American companies take their jobs DVD-ing the animes seriously. We have crap subbing here in Malaysia. I remember only a few companies take their subbing seriously. (Onegai Teacher’s VCD boxset had excellent subs…wonder which company made it? I’m talking about the plastic casing boxset of course, not the cheaply-made paper ones).

But aahhh…I still go and buy the DVDs or VCDs on sale anyway, for retail teraphy’s sake. Who could resist such beautiful DVD covers? xD.

I think it’s that time to burn some porns again. HEHEHHEHEHE. I havent used that word in a long time, aye?

I feel so pathetic. I had to read other people’s blogs (strangers or friends or famous people, doesn’t matter) to get myself motivated to write my own. I was reading Kennysia’s girlfriend’s blog and was totally impressed by her long hair.

From now on I vow to never cut my hair in the next two years. :D  So no saloon visits (other than wash or treatment) for me until 2009. My hair grows very slowly therefore it took me about 3 years just to grow my hair to down half my back, which was the longest I ever had in my life. I had always wanted to grow my hair down to my waist but just as it was about to reach that lenght, I grew bored of it and decided to cut.

I really have no patience.

And of course, long hair can be a bother especially when you have to wear the veil. sighs. In addition to sitting on them and often times get them stuck between the rattan braids of the chairs at home, not fun.

But I shall prevail this time! Somehow…

The last time I cut my hair was December 2005. I cut it the shortest ever and since the stylist misunderstood me, it turned out really weird. But at least it was a nice change. I didn’t have to tie my hair in a long time after that hehehe.

I just read that there is absolutely NO way to make hair grow faster. Believe whatever you want, there’s no such methods in current technology. Fact: Hair grows a maximum of half an inch a month and that’s it. But you can influence how healthy your hair follicle is though. (and the only solution to split ends is to cut them)

And after reading the articles more, I think I’m gonna switch to salon products soon rather than the mass produced ones. I have been planning to switch shampoos in a while now anyway, just as soon as I finish my batch of Pantene. The first three ingredients are the most important in a shampoo so I just checked and my current Pantene shampoo has Ammonium Laureth Sulphate, one type of lather to make bubbles when you wash your hair. The thing about these lathers is that, they contribute little to the washing of your hair and can actually dry your hair. The gentlest type is sodium laureth sulphate and guess what? My replacement shampoo L’Oreal Elseve - contains it! What a coincidence!

And you see, the experts reccomend that the gentler the better. So yeah, after one more washing my pantene is finished and I’m switching straight to L’Oreal.

Actually, it’s common for most popular brands to not use sodium laureth sulphate, but opt for its less gentle cousins. Which is why salon products are more expensive than mass-market ones.

I also just learned the truth about dandruff. If you really care about your hair, go here. It’s really good. And clears up a lot of myths about hair, like blow-drying. Which is not bad for your hair as some might assume.

I started typing feeling uninspired now I end it feeling like a hair care expert.

Normally by this time on most Monday nights I’d be finishing something mostly related to tomorrow’s subject of Company Law. But tonight I don’t have anything to prepare. I only finished disseminating and editing the info I received from a group member and handing it over to the next group member for a presentation on Thursday. It’s fun sometimes, being the person in the middle. Because often I’m on the receiving end of everything.

Today I tried playing the Death Note CD that contains all the soundtrack. It contained 15 tracks. No track name and no artist. I don’t know how that happened, but the songs are nice mostly. I haven’t listened to all. Now the CD has some problems and Kuja won’t recognize it. I’ll try again after I reboot.

I finally took a good look at my little DEATH NOTE that I will soon name ^_^. Totchi’s is Momo and she wanted me to name mine POPO!

So I said no thanks…

Anyway, this is what I noticed…

Almost half of the book is the ‘how to use it’ page. The first page is "I" as in the roman 1, and the last black page is "LIX", which is 59. So almost sixty pages for the instructions alone. But now that I look at it I feel so sayang to use it xD. I don’t think I’m quite ready to pass judgement with it yet. When I do though, I’m gonna start with those pesky lecturers *cough*Safa*cough* and our annoying head of business school *cough*Kharuna*cough*. Hehehehe.

Anybody’s birthday coming up (other than mine hehe) whom I can give a DEATH NOTE too while stocks last? I recently gave someone a pair of boxers for her birthday. xD

I am obsessed.

OMG OMG OMG ZOMG!!!

I FINALLY GOT A DEATH NOTE!! YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW LONG I’VE BEEN STALKING THIS BOOK!!! I LOVE IT TO BITS!!

*huff huff huff*

Yes, I’ve finally got the DEATH NOTE and I am happy…

The book comes in a box and a CD with all the soundtracks from the first movie and a feather pen, which was free.

Before I took out the notebook from the box, I washed my hands. XD

I didn’t wanna contaminate the book after spending the whole day touching public things you know. Yes, I was that fanatic. And Totchi is laughing at me.

Also, I called Totchi up not long after I bought it cause I was just too excited XD! And Totchi said she wanted one too since she lost hers and it didn’t have instructions. This one I bought had over 30 of the ‘how to use’ pages. It even went as far as to explain the nature of shinigamis. Impressive.

Anyway, I bought Totchi’s the next day because it’s just so much fun buying them XD. Okay Totchi, here’s yours. I didn’t even open the covers so you’ll be first to touch it. (And wash your hands before that okay? XD)

I’ve mentioned about this before here. Apparently, they got an abundance of stuff coming in after CNY. In addition to the DEATHNOTE books they have neckties, and some trading cards collection in addition to anime collections. There are several varieties to the notebooks too.

There was this box that includes a bigger version of this death note. It included a small booklet with pics of the second movie and a pen, almost similar to what Light Yagami used, except with DEATH NOTE written at the side. Another set was Misa’s Death Note. It was smaller, the same size as mine, included a picture book, pen and a VCD of the first movie. I liked Misa’s notebook because the cover was different. It was classier. Mine looked like leather. That other one looked like hardened paper or something, which was nice XD.

I almost bought Misa’s death note set if not because the VCD had Mandarin subs. But oh well. You can’t have everything heh. And the sudden unexpected arrival of the notebooks nearly made a dent at my KL budget. I didn’t bring a lot of cash, so I had to tap into my reserves. - All for the sake of love!

I even bought boxers on this trip. Hehehehhehe.

Anyway, the main reason I went all the way to KL was to meet a friend who was in town. We met on Saturday and travelled to Mid Valley together with a couple of other friends. That day I ate Japanese food for both lunch and dinner and I was happy. Today on my way back to the hostel I stood all the way in the monorail, and stood most of the way in the bus too.

I hate crowded buses.

Next time I’m going to have to learn to not mind the extra 2.50 for the trip to KL on a Metrobus when Rapid KL is getting a bit too crowdy.

These days, most people wanna save their money and make full use of the ‘1 ticket 1 day’ concept of Rapid KL busses they don’t mind crowding the bus. Metrobus in my area it seems was only for people who wanna go to Puduraya or Kotaraya. Since Rapid doesn’t stop there. It was sad, looking at those white and green Metro busses. Sometimes they would have only 2 passengers while the bulk of the crowd all go to Rapid. But that’s business you know.

Anyway, I have a flu, again. Ta’ra!

I feel that I am somehow surrounded by mediocrity. But the scariest thing is that I found myself slowly but surely evolving into mediocrity myself. This cannot happen! How!? How did it happen!? When did it start!? Where did I go wrong!?

WHY DOES GREATNESS SEEM TO ELUDE ME!?

I don’t like being average. I want to be great. I want to be fucking great!!

Of course, other people’s idiocy and incompetence will always have to be included in your success equation but how big is that factor? How!? HOW?! And how do you minimize them!? HOW? HOOOOW!?

I feel like such a mediocrity I could almost kill myself. My current ’self’ that is, but bad habits are hard to break you know. But it’s not like habits aren’t learnable. Gosh this is not how it’s supposed to be!

GOD HELP ME!!

This time it’s no longer a matter of why. It’s a matter of how! HOW! I don’t want reasoning! I want solutions! SOLUTIONS!

I feel like such a freaking mediocrity.

Oh I want my lover. But it’s not bedtime yet.

I saw the VCD on sale for a while now so I bought it on a whim. It was either this or Barnyard. I’ll get that one another time. Flushed Away was from the creators of Shrek but although it wasn’t as funny, it was still very entertaining. I was laughing my butt off most of the way hehehehe.

My favorite character has  to be Whitey. He used to be a lab rat. Now he’s a hench-rat. He also used to be dark grey when he was a lab rat for a ‘big shampoo job’ then he turned white, but at least it cleared off his dandruff! Hahahaha!

And this disk has English subtitles. It wasn’t until I played it that I realized it was British. The subs help a little, but it’s not like the accents were all that thick.

Anyway, Whitey! The pink-eyed hench-rat! Kyaah he’s so adorable!

And Whitey wore mittens when they were in the fridge. Hahahaha!

Other than Whitey, my favorite character is the French ninja frogs. French ninjas. Hahahahaha! Their leader is Le Frog.

And Le Frog is cousins with the big bad frog, the villain. Whos name escapes me.

Here, he walks all over his cousin, like, literally. He’s French and proud of it and feels superior over his English cousin. Gotta love him.

As you might notice, he goes from one side to the other, all in once sentence. Hehehehehe. Anyway, one last picture of the main cast.

err I just turned off pop up blocker and it resetted the screen. Anyway, I *HEART* Tsukikage Ran! I’ve never loved a protagonist as much as I love Ran!! She’s a travelling ronin (masterless samurai) and her swordskill is thus far unmatched and she has a love for sake. She also often refers to herself as bjin (be autiful lady). At the start of the series she was introduced to Meow, a Chinese martial artist and after a bit of scuffle, they ended up travelling together. Furthermore, there’s certainly nothing to hate about Ran! ^_^ I present to you some Ran moments!!

Like maybe some visuals. I thought those two Ran eps would be done when I got back but it’s still stuck with 95% and 96% each. Sighs. I’ll watch Hana Yori Dango in a bit, because as you might have guessed, I just woke up. I didn’t get enough sleep last night so resisting nature is just futile. Like I said, I’ll go to bed at 10 pm and still call it nap if I have to. Especially if I woke up really late in the day. I am craving moving things because drawing and reading manga or writing don’t make things move without initiative on your part.

Aaaanyway, it’s always during one of my most fitful slumbers that people always choose to strategically call me up. Unfortunately, calls I must always pick up. (If not then the battle theme ring tone will still annoy me to death. Not sure why I am still using that ring tone from Suikoden 2).

This time it’s my sis (you must be happy reading about yourself aren’t you?). Daddyo gave the OK to go watch Disney on Ice in April, here in KL. I think between 7-12 April is already study week, if not the end of the sem. Final exams will only start in May. I can always rely on the exam dates to be postponed instead of brought forward here. Right, so anyway, sis wants me to go to KL and check at the Info Counter at LOT 10 about the tickets. Consider this, everyone, I’m in Puchong and she wants me to go all the way to KL just to ask about one little thing and then? Go back?

True, my mom cannot be relied on in this situation.

And considering this is a very hectic weekend for me and next week too probably.

The miracle of the phone.

If it wasn’t for my dad I wouldn’t even know the number of Telekom’s directory (or if it even existed!). I used to think that my dad was treating us like his employees. He’d go "what time is this movie?" and I’d go "I’m not sure. I haven’t checked the papers." and he’d reply "Go and call them and ask for the showing times." then I’d be "Huh!?" Calling up strangers just like that?! But of course daddyo wouldn’t have it. You’re just calling to ask. Besides, you’re a potential customer aren’t you?

And if I had refused and backed down I’ll probably get scolded for being unreliable. I’d hate that.

Just press 103 and you’ll be directed straight to the directory. You can find almost any number from there. Now, having this knowledge, it pisses me off when people are not so reliable. Especially when something as simple as movie showing times are concerned.

Everyone, if you are asking me out for a movie but am not sure about showing times, you’d better have a good reason for that. Because, most of the time, that can be solved with just one phone call which most people are too clueless to make.

Or if you are too shy, come to me. I have the numbers of all the relevant cinemas. Now there’s no reason for you to say ‘I don’t know’ anymore. It’s pathetic.

I am officially a Loveless fan. Or wait. I’ve said that before. Okay, I’m more into Loveless now than I do before. How’s that?

The prologue+omake of Loveless just finished downloading. Soon the five vols of the manga will also finish downloading waa I’m so excited! I haven’t yet burned Loveless into DVD so I’m gonna wait till the manga is done then I shall burn the anime+prologue/omake+manga together.

Totchi: If you want them I’ll give you the entire Loveless combo XD.

And that’s rare. Like, you may have the anime, but not the manga, or the other way around. Anyway, I’ve pretty much studied most of what I need for tomorrow or…*checks clock* in the next 7 hours. Anyway, I still plan to sleep despite some minor annoyances. Hopefully by noon I’ll be able to watch two eps of Tsukikage Ran and Hana Yori Dango LA 2 episode 9. Kyaah :D.

Gaah I’m going to bed thinking about food again. By the way, I’ve finished Haruka! Well, maybe not quite yet though. Still have to edit it hehehe.
