Prosperity Abundance
Last Monday when I picked up my laundry that I sent on Wednesday the week before, the auntie gave me two Mandarin oranges from the box on their counter. When I looked at that box I suddenly thought to myself…
I want a box of oranges too!
I wasn’t sure why, but I want it! I think it’s just like that time with the mooncake. I saw them on sale and people buying them, and I just thought I want them too!
See here, that’s how a shopaholic mind works.
Last night I finally got my wish. My family was having dinner at the bryani rice restaurant in Subang. I told my sis since they were in the area, could they get me a box of oranges that are plentiful everywhere? She asked if I wanted the big ones or the small ones. I said whichever is fine, so long as they are sweet.
Some time later my sis showed up with two ‘baskets’ of small oranges. I took only one because I’ll be leaving for BB for the weekend and even if I had two baskets, I was certain the other one would not survive the weekend. So I just took one to satisfy my own whims and stuffed myself last night. Hehehee.
I want my basket-full of prosperity too see!
The orangers are all so cute!! They are nice and seedless. So you can even eat them whole after peeled! I really don’t want them to finish but looking at the meager number they are now, it’s better if I just finish them off or lose them over the weekend. I wish I could have more in BB but oh well. I’ll be going home for Chinese New Year yay! So hopefully more mini oranges waiting for me there ^_^.
I think I should just start my own lunar calendar since I seem to be celebrating CNY and the moon cake festival. Hahahaha.
Some day I need to ask how does these oranges relate to prosperity.
Ta’ra.
