Oh My BT…!
Problems are not necessarily a bad thing you see. Through them you learn. Because of really annoying problems I have learnt the anatomy of a toilet, how to unclog clogged toilets, portforwarding, details on bittorrent transfers and how to get into my router.
Yeah. things I’d otherwise wouldn’t care before because they’ve been doing fine without any tempering. But now I have no choice. After all, there’s nobody to rely on except myself. And occassionally Gary with whatever little help he can offer. Most of the time he’s not very useful other than as an object of blame.
Aaaanyway, I’m having pizza tonight. When I’m calling for pizza at the hostel I use my number. When I’m at USTBOSH it’s my sis’s number since hers is locked on to that address and explaining is mafan.
And I am seriously not happy with my downloads not budging ever since I came back. Today I toggled around with BT and the router settings again and at the same time ‘power up’ the BT client. There’s been very minimal improvements, but at least better than nothing. But just to make sure, I emailed the service provider.
I’ve started writing again. Last night I was struck by inspiration so it was impossible to stop. Due to that, I slept through my morning class. Partially unintentional, really because I woke up, went back to bed and then "oh no, I overslept" and proceeded to sleeping again. It happens :D.
And also, regarding the story I wrote last night Totchi might get some ideas on it hehehe. Since not long after I started writing I texted her asking various stuff. Along the way I found out a few things. Like, did you know that ‘Haruka’ is actually a very feminime name? I didn’t know that of course. Most of the Harukas I encountered were males (except for Sailor Uranus who was err, a male and female). So yeah, naturally I thought it was male. But then Totchi thought its very female because the kanji for ‘Haruka’ means ’spring fragrance’. So…judge for yourself.
And now that I really think about it, there are many not strictly male or female Japanese names. Sasaki, Mizuki and Kaoru are perfect examples of unisex ones. Those truly female names are normally those ending with ‘ko’ ie Takako, Ryoko, and of course, Sakurako (or Sakura, since it would be weird to have a guy with a given name of Sakura). And strictly guys names often ends with ‘ro’ like Souchiro Kantaro and Ichiro (ain’t that right Totchi? hehehe).
I’m still debating whether Kazuki is male or female. Most Kazukis I encountered were males, though it might also turn into another Haruka. If I somehow know the kanji behind it, it might help. Or it could just fall as being unisex. Besides, it looks fine on a girl or boy either way.
So hmmmm. Have a lot of stuff to ponder about.
Ta’ra.
