Man, it seems like getting sick is a monthly occasion ever since I get here. And I am kinda low on funds right now. I mean, I have just received some money to pay for fees and hostel rental and all that, but in terms of pocket money, man I’m living hand to mouth. Almost. I also spend quite a lot on meds too as I had just noticed. Seems like lately I can’t survive without a pack full of Clarinase and Panadols. And cough syrup. I’m wondering if I should just see the doctor or get the strongest cough drop available in pharmacies.
Then again, the shelves are stocked with instant noodles. Blergh. I keep saying to my homies if I keep eating instant noodles at such regularity, it would be a matter of time before all my hair looses out.
I did some decorating today, other than installing the network cables around my room from the router in the living room. Lookie here :D. The Sephiroth poster had just been added tonight. The one with Reno and Rude has been on my desk a day since I came here. So now I can finally permanently sealed the plastic covering on top of them. Hahaha!
Looking at the pic, is it obvious that I had just taken the pic while typing this blog? Kuja had issues with Katan and wouldn’t recognize him when I plugged him in. So I had to send the pic via bluetooth. Very mafan.
I looked at my laundry basket just now and saw a lot of stuff to wash. You know what? I think I should just utilize the available services around here and just cart them away to the laundrette. Easy. But I’ll still do some washing tomorrow. Like, my veil and my socks. Iit’s a bit mafan when you wear shoes a lot and have to change socks every other day. :/
Anyway, I paid my fees today which was…overdue. Hehehe…
The finance guy wasn’t pleased cause last Tuesday he had the cauncellor call me up to inform me about it. To be honest, I was totally clueless about it. Because back in Swinburne, I’m used to paying my fees in one go. This monthly thing is very annoying. Anyway, before I get my loan, I have to pay 400 monthly and he said I owe them two months fees already. When I arrived at his room, all I told him was ‘I would like to pay the fees’. He straight away said ‘800′ without asking who I was! Scary! Then he asked if I came to the orientation. I said yeah. And he asked if I heard what he said that day. I told him, quite frankly, that upon registration, you paid a lot of stuff and it’s easy to get confused on things. I supposed he wasn’t expecting me to reply back, other than maybe a lame sheepish guilty grin, so he was pretty taken aback. Then, in an effort to retain his dignity, he said, quite steely, ‘fees must be paid by the tenth of each month’. All I said was, ‘yeah, okay, and please add another for September too’.
I know, I’m a very outspoken person. But you know, even if you wanna be outspoken, at least do it with flair. Hehehehe.
My homie said that he’s actually a very nice guy once you get to know him. But guess we had a bad start. And besides, I wasn’t very keen on getting to know the finance guy anyway. Even though he takes care of the money, they are not his, are they? And does he have the authority to give me discounts regarding payment of fees?
It’s late now but I can’t sleep because I just had a very long nap today. I’m…not sure what to do next. Hmmm…
Ta’ra!
