Jealousy

Friday, July 28th, 2006

Jealousy is terrible. So terrible in fact, it costed me my last post. You see, ever since Kuja entered the scene, Towers has been acting up. He’s letting me know he doesn’t like the newcomer and is punishing me terribly. sighs. I’m too lazy to rewrite that post. I just take it that if a post disappeared before posting then it wasn’t meant to be posted in the first place. Ah well.

Edited: I just found out that my previous post survived Towers’ antics. Its the one titled ‘My Today’.

I’m still doing some light packing. Don’t know what else to put in my bag. I have two hand luggages too. I have Kuja and Kujong in my hands. I can’t simply shove them into cargo now can I?

Ta’ra!

p/s for you to keep track,

Towers = my PC

Kuja = my lappy

Kujong = my PS2

Katan = my phone

Bartholomew = My TV

My Today

Friday, July 28th, 2006

These days, I noticed that whenever I wake up, my eyes would quickly scan the clock on my wall. My first thought would be ‘is it 11 am? Masked Rider Faiz is on today right?’ followed by a quick calculation of what day of the week it was. I’ve missed two of the shows already. I ain’t too keen, but it’s just amusing to watch.

Today I went to the tailor at Satok. Have my measurements taken for something I’m having made for raya. This raya I won’t have too many clothes. Just three. The thing is, I always end up with too many clothes that I won’t even wear often. So they end up crowding my wardrobe…accumulating year by year. Anyway, afterwards I had a late lunch/early dinner at ‘Pijja Hut’. Could also finally gave Totchi her posters. My mom also made horlicks layer cake for me to bring along hehehe.

I did some light packing. I’ll have two bags for cargo, but they’ll be pretty light. One just holds My Lover (yep, no way I’m going away without him). The other holds mostly books and whatever else I need to bring along. You know, if not because of the weight limit AirAsia imposed on cargo items, I would just bought a big ol’ wooden trunk like Harry Potter and stuff everything in there. Easy.

But in addition to the two bags, I have Kuja and Kujong as hand luggages. I somehow wished I could shove Kujong into the cargo too but both him and Kujong are too sensitive for that. *sighs*. Kuja is heavy. His own weight is 2.26 kg. The best I could do to reduce his weight was to put his wires and adapters into my cargo bag. At least I’ll be carrying just his weight with no add-ons. Kuja seriously need to lose weight.

I have also decided to take Swinburne’s Harvard System reference book along. I mean, you always need to do reference when doing assignments, right? I’m just hoping that uni also uses Harvard referencing system. It woulda been easier if it was an Australian uni, but apparently, this is a local start-up. British system maybe? If one exists.

Now…I’m looking for my pair of scissors…wonder where it go.

…found it.

Right! I’m actually thinking of going jogging tomorrow morning. Pending of course, that I manage to get up. It would also do me good to wake up early tomorrow even though my flight is at noon. Because I tend to wake up only 2 and a half hour before flight time (ie. flight at 1 pm, wake up at 10:30 am). Which usually left me scurrying around for all the ‘little things’ that can only be packed last minute. You know, like my face wash and Katan’s charger. In addition, I haven’t decided what to wear for tomorrow yet. Hmmm.

I’m not sure if I’ll be able to blog tomorrow morning before I go so this’ll probably the last one from me from here. Hehehe. My next post will, I predict, to be a little later than usual. But ah well. Ta’ra!

A Feast!!

Thursday, July 27th, 2006

You know what? Feasts are good. Especially your going-away feast. It was very productive if I may say so myself. Mehehehe. I only invited one friend. See? I have only one friend. The rest…have abandoned me…*sniff sniff*

But naaah. I wanted to invite other friends, but the composition of people would turn out very awkward. Beside, we’ve had out get-together already hehehe. Besides, it was my dad’s idea. If you ask me, it’s just an excuse to have lotsa people in the house and eat special food. He just went ahead without really consulting me. I don’t really mind. I mean, I can’t say no to dhal curry and meatloaf with mushroom gravy now can I? All who attended were families and extended families. It’s actually more of a fmaily thing even though my mom would have liked it if I invited more friends. You know…friends can get intimidated around families so I keep them to a minimum. It’s hard to go crazy with your mates when your grandma is looking over your shoulder now can you?

Wow, tonight I get to discuss about life’s issues at great lenght with my friend. It’s been a while, you know. It’s not like just anyone is interested in the stock market. In fact, most people consider it the bane of the financial world and talking about it is taboo. What’s one got to do anyway? I can’t help it. Despite not participating in any trades lately, I still couldn’t quite stay away. I know it’s where I’ll end up someday so why even bother detaching myself?

Also…I have that loan to think about. Pending that I get it, of course.

Hey I just noticed that I have a K-Triad below me hahaha! What are they? The Triad is made of the Kujong, Katan and Kuja. Kujong is on top because he’s…well, he’s the senior. Then comes Katan, followed by Kuja. So they both bow down to Kujong. Mwahahaha.

Alright, I’m done here. Good night!

Ta’ra!

I am back! …for now.

Wednesday, July 26th, 2006

Woah!! It’s been over two weeks since my last post! Amazing. I wanted to blog a post before I left for KL but I kept forgetting and when I was in KL I seem to always delude the time to visit that cybercafe in Sungei Wang :D. But anyway, I’m back for now and I will leave again this Saturday. For good. I’m sure you guys are glad to see the back of me. Hehehehe.

So…I’ve been pestered on and on about how the ‘new place’ is so I’ll say a bit about it here. First up, about 50% of the stduents are that third main race in Malaysia. You know about the three major races in this country right? Well, it’s the third one. The one that makes up the lowest percentage. Yeah, that. I found saying it weird so I left you guys with hints.

So, knowing that, and given the fact that I’m a Sarawakian, it’s something totally new. I’m used to being surrounded by the first two races and with my experiences in Swinburne, I’m totally fine being surrounded by Chinese. But this…this is totally new. Oh and I’m not the only one who thinks this way too.

I went to the orientation but not the classes. Since my dad had to leave for Kuching and not come back unexpectedly, I had to take a cab from our apartment in Starhill to Puchong. A typical two-way journey is 40 ringgit. And that’s if you’re lucky. I was with our Uncle Cabbie. He’s sorta like our on-call cabbie so whatever fare he gives me, it’s the best one. Normally if you’re stuck in traffic, cabbies tend to charge more, but Uncle Cabbie has a flat rate. And we’re allowed to delay payment too!! His policy is ‘if you don’t have cash, don’t pay’ or ‘if you can’t pay full, pay later’.

It’s obvious to see why I didn’t go to the classes and their Bumiputra-only orientation on Saturday. I only went there again to settle my PTPTN loan (yes, I am taking a loan) and to submit my final results from Swinburne. So there’s another 40 ringgit. I ain’t gonna spend 40 ringgit everyday just to attend classes. Ain’t gonna happy, baby.

I have applied for lodging at the hostel apartments near the uni but my tenant starts at the last day of July since I still have to go back to Kuching to sort out some stuff. The apartment isn’t bad. I got a master bedroom with an en suit bathroom all to myself so that’s good hehehehe.

Let’s talk about the orientation now. Orientation was better than Swinburne’s, sorry to say, but some of you guys must agree that the Swinburne’s orientation kinda suck, right? Anyway, we did a lot of games and went around the uni in groups and if we can’t perform a task we’ll get marked with paint. Ideally on your face, but I somehow avoided that. My skin was breaking out big time and as much as I didn’t want them to taint my face with chemicals, they also didn’t dare place their brush there. Hehehehehehe. And I was the only one who got away with it too. So we pretty much run around the uni in groups, doing silly games here and there.

But my skin is healing because I found out Proactiv Solution is back on the shelves!! It is really good for major acne breakouts. After just one week, my skin had healed tremendously. Before, it hurts just to frown, then it went into massive dry-outs and ta-da! But unfortunately, during that course of one week, I met a lot of different people and had to answer their questions regarding my skin condition more times that I’d like. Especially this one aunty of mine. She kept saying she should ‘work’ me with her Aloe Vera Gold (she sells aloe vera products) and make me drink aloe vera juice to purify my blood!

*shudders* She scares me.

No thanks. I am fine with my Proactiv. I saw the ad on TV one day and was surprised to see the listings of malls that sell them. And scrolling across the screen was ‘BEWARE OF IMMITATION. NOT SOLD IN PHARMACIES’. Heh yeah, they got that right. I saw a few of the immitations and even used them when they actually replaced the real thing. They are only half as good as the real thing but moreover, they were very mafan to use. So after I saw that ad, I went to Times Square when I got to KL and saw that they actually have them! Since they don’t accept Amex charge cards, I paid cash. Not that I mind too much. The things you do when you are desperate, you know.

When I was in KL, I did a lot of major shopping. I now have a Kuja :D. And I even found a Kujong carrier. The vendors at Sg. Wang frustrated me coz they all don’t have Kujong carriers. I finally found one in Low Yat. Turns out it was the last one. But I’m not complaining hehehe. Even Katan has new clothes.

Here’s some pictures for you to look at. Lappy shopping was fun. But I finally found the one I wanted. It’s a Toshiba Satellite M100 series. I’ll be honest. I like it because of its color :P.

I finally stick with Kuja:

Kuja_1 Yes, my lappy’s name is Kuja. I have decided on it long before I got one. So here this is Kuja. Doesn’t it look like a Kuja? :D

While I was going around lappy shopping, I found the limited edition FIFA laptop. Its got all the best specs with a gold chasis and white innards. The normal price was 5999 but the store gave me 5600 and that’s the lowest any store would give you. But I declined!! I must have KUJA!! oh yeah, when I came back to that store, they don’t have the FIFA anymore, but has something else on display. A Lamborghini special edition lappy. Check it out. and Check out the price too. I bet you, half of the price is just for having the name ‘Lamborghini’ plastered on the chassis. LambLamb2_1  Lamb_logo

And it’s made by Asus. Asus isn’t very reliable. Trust me, for whatever reasons, it’s not worth the money. Wait till the price comes down a bit if you wanna buy it oh-so-desperately.

Oh yeah, Katan’s new clothes. A back and front pic.Katan_1 Katan_2 For all I know, Katan is happy with his new clothes hehehe.

Now, the Kujong carrier. Kujong couldn’t wait to try out his new…home on the road.KujongCarrier

All of his extensions will definitely fit in there. I am therefore, pleased.

*sighs* when I came back I was looking forward to re-watching Pirates of the Caribbean 2 with Totchi but I had a fever!! Damn fever!! I had to cancel and now Totchi is busy D’:. I guess there’sno re-watching of Pirates 2 now. *sniff sniff*

Oh yeah, I just checked my MUET results see if there are any specifics mentioned, but all it said was ‘band achieved’. I got a band 6 wheee. That’s one Swinburne record broken. hehehe.

It’s noon. I should shower. Ta’ra!

p/s Sir Thursday is out!! Yay!

Marimo is Proven TOUGH!!

Saturday, July 8th, 2006

Yes, Marimo has been proven tough. How?

Well it all started yesterday. Yeah, the eventful day. As I was driving back from Swinburne with a big grin on my face since all the hard subjects are over, BAM! …I rammed onto a Vios.

Look what I did to its rear bumper. Vios

Not a pretty sight is it? Here’s another one I took as I was led by them to the Toyota dealer for check up. Vios_rear

As you can see, it’s a pretty new car. The old guy said it’s only been a month since he got it. So, done looking at these two pics? Look at Marimo.

Green_guy_1 Not a scratch! Just look at him as the green guy grins with glee. So no physical evidence that I had a little accident. I don’t really have a need to inform my parents or anyone about it except for the fact that my bank account is still a minor’s account and I have to change it from my dad’s name to mine first.

I think the old guy and his wife weren’t very happy not just because I ruined their new car, but because I was too cool when dealing with them. When I saw Marimo I went "woah!" and grinned.

And come on, he was a bank employee (who, judging from the car, probably just got promoted) but he was so slow. Not the driving though, the person. He kept saying ’so…so…so…’ and didn’t know what else to do. We were at the Toyota dealer getting his claims’ estimation and the figure has been agreed on. Geez man if he just wanted money just tell me the time and date he wants them, really! Why the fukk does he want me to linger around anyway? Besides, I already gave him my particulars including my phone number. You won’t believe this guy…here’s a conversation I had with him…if you can call it that.

Old guy: *taking out his phone* So uh….

Me: You want my number?

Old guy: *nods*

Me: Your wife has it.

Old guy’s wife: *nods*

Old guy: Okay…so…

Me: So?

Old guy: So…*stares at the customer service guy as if he was the most beautiful thing in the world*

Customer service guy: *stares back at him* ….

Me: *exasperation*

*sighs* No wonder I have phobias against old men. But anyway, I told my dad about it just now and am willing to pay with my own money for the sake of my pride. The price was the same as this year by the way, but it was 994 ringgit below my estimation so that was good. And Marimo is grinning so that’s good too. Just hoping I wouldn’t have to deal with such a slow guy again in the future. But it was funny how that old guy didn’t bother arguing with me. I could argue my case and win if I wanted. But I’m a good person and I didn’t argue as a way of saying sorry for causing an inconvinience.

In fact, it wasn’t until we were about to leave the dealer that I remembered that I haven’t apologized. Hehehehe.

You know, after I hit their car and we stepped out to survey the damage I immediately went "So? How much do you think it will be?"

And the guy went "Uhh…"

I think, if I just drove away at that moment, he wouldn’t even try to stop me.

Oh on that note, I actually took a pic first, then talk. Hahaha!

A very eventful day indeed. I was actually looking forward to a relaxing weekend but oh well…shit happens. My dad was cool too. Probably cause Marimo was fine. But just to be on the safe side, he’s going to check with his friend at Toyota to make sure the guy actually repairs his car there. My account is going to take a bit of a dip, but I have no real need for the money right now. All my tuition fees are already covered (and more! mwahahaha!). Therefore it’s just this nagging thing that bothers me. Have to get this shit done by Monday.

I went to IRC and told this long-lost friend of mine about it. Here’s a piece of the conversation.

<Smap_Knight> Just as I finish my last hard paper for the finals…I rammed onto someone’s car!
<Smap_Knight> Hahahaha
<Templar> And you’re laughing?

I know, it’s not exactly an experience one should laugh at. But heh. it’s just funny to think about.

The Japanese finally submit to German technology !! This makes me love Marimo even more. He’s saved my behind so many times already. Ha~

Ta’ra!

Eventful Day

Friday, July 7th, 2006

Today has been a very eventful day.

The end.

Reasons Why I am Insane #1

Thursday, July 6th, 2006

Let’s start off the 201th post with a ‘Reasons Why I am Insane’ series. Note: understanding of the Sarawakian language require.

A normal happening in my house:

Big sis coming up the stairs and stopped at the top of the stairs where younger sis was standing giving her back (because that’s where the door to her room is).

Big sis: UWOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

Younger sis: *gets surprised and jumped and screamed hysterically* Yaaarghh!!! Kak long bodoooo!!! *laughs but in the verge of tears* Pahal kak long molah gia??!?

Big sis: *acts coolly* Aih, sapa nyuroh Ekah tekejut.

Then followed by the customary chasing-around-the-house-screaming routine.

*sighs*

A big number to conclude all numbers!

Thursday, July 6th, 2006

HOOOOO!!! THE BIG 2-0-0 FINALLY HOOOOO~~!!

And with that big number, concluded along with it was Maths! Yay! No more counting, no more numbers!!

Alas, being in a business course, it’s a little hard to stay away from numbers. At least I’m only going to bear it for another two semesters. Am so glad I’m not taking courses like accounting or…engineering…*shudders*

Once I get through tomorrow I’m home free!! Of course, there’s one more on Monday but it’s quite easy. I’ve even written down things I need to do after the exam. Hint: It involves a lot of washing and cleaning. Out of which involves Marimo. Hehehe.

This weekend I will finish Tales of Legendia. The other games I will play later. Besides, I still need to burn some porns and I still don’t have my much-needed supply of CD-Rs. Someone please drive me to Saberkas.

Here’s some helpful hints before I go. A few things you should know about idiots:

1. Stay away from working with idiots

2. Never let idiots handle your work

3. Never underestimate the power of idiots in big groups.

Take this list as your mantra. It will help you GREATLY.

Ta’ra!

Yesterday, Today and Some Time Later

Wednesday, July 5th, 2006

HOOOOOO!!!

It’s been a couple of days without a post. So hmmm what should I write here eh? Alright, for starters, we’re through with IT and Accounting and tomorrow is Maths. After maths is just Marketing. The other two subjects requires no fact-reading and such. So I am pleased, yet still worried. Maths is one of my worst nightmares. But the smap will prevail!!

I know I’ve pre-decided not to go to the gym this whole week until the weekend comes. But I’ve had some free time today so I went hehehe (also because my head was itchy which means I haven’t washed it in a while. I wash my hair after the gym each time. A good way to tell if I’ve been staying away too long). I still prefer going in the morning though, where there aren’t a lot of people. Anyway, I could still squeeze about four workouts before I go heheh.

But of course, there’s that trip to Tao too. Who else is coming eh??

It’s also been a while since I listened to this Jay Chou CD I got from Totchi Tin. I came across it while rummaging around for empty CD-Rs which I AM RUNNING OUT OF!! I need to buy new ones soon.

Also, I did some drawing today and it has been a while too. I tend to concentrate on only one thing between writing, drawing, gaming and anime-ing. Ahem, right. I think I shall draw up a four-weeks exercise regime that involves a lot of weight lifting afterwards. I actually saw it on MSN health but am modifying it a bit since I gotta work with what I have. Let’s hope I succeed now. Just sticking to it needs a lot of grit. But the smap shall prevail! (again)

Lately I’ve been watching a lot of Razor Ramon, aka Hard Gay videos. He’s so freaking funny! Here’s a list of some of his videos. The good ones are all subbed so don’t worry! I reccomend you start with Father’s Day then move on to vids with hits of 1000 and above. You may get disgusted, repulsed or rolling on the floor laughing. Depends on you. But my reaction was just the last one. Hahaha!

Hardo Gay hooooooo~!

He’s hillarious…if I ever met him in person I’d give him a hug…coz he makes me laugh during these solemn times. Haa~

Ta’ra!

Of Hyde and Hot Guys

Monday, July 3rd, 2006

*sighs* I watched Superman Returns today and oh my God, Brandon Routh is so amazingly hot!! I preferred him as Clark though, without the glasses of course, but he’s so cute even with the nerdy glasses. I’m in love.

Prior to the movie you see a good fifteen minutes or so of other movie previews. It previewed Pirates of the Caribbean 2 and Johnny Depp!! When I got home I was so preoccupied with Brandon Routh. My cousin said he looked too perfect. Like a mannequin-perfect kind of perfect. But who cares. Although Hyde is a far cry from being six feet four and 215 pounds of muscles, Hyde is still my number one. But you know, Farah asked what I’d do if all three of them, (Hyde, Johnny Depp and Brandon Routh) are in one movie.

I will scream in the cinema. Then I can die happy.

If they were in the movie together, Brandon will be the hero, Johnny Depp is a third party assisting Brandon but with his own motives (kinda like Captain Sparrow) and Hyde is the villain. Because villains rock! Haa~ I shall dream of Superman tonight. Or maybe just Clark. Clark is cute. Superman’s hair is weird. Didn’t he know that the small curl went down the way of the dodo?

Hyde…will be put on sabbatical for a while. When Pirates of the Caribbean 2 is released, I shall watch the movie at least twice and will buy the original DVD! I am actually emulating someone who said she’d watch Da Vinci code at least twice. *cough*Totchi Tin*cough*

My cousin came over and we talked a lot about these guys (Brandon of course, and Johnny Depp) and life in general. I told her I’d take a forty year old now if I can, as long as that forty year old is Hyde! Yeah, Hyde is nearing the big four-zero, but he just grew sexier with age. But someone asked what if Hyde is no more. Then I told them I will take 30 year olds. As long as that 30 year old is Toshiya. Yep, I got more eye rolls after that. Then they all stopped asking.

Is it my fault these older guys are so hot?

Okay what if I say Brandon Routh? He’s not too old right?

Johnny Depp is also a worthy candidate in the 40 year old category, but as long as Hyde is still around, that ain’t gonna happen. Hyde is my slave! Katan is my pimp, Kujong is my spare pimp, and Kuja is my veteran slave (and Raphael, and Mori, and Rociel and Lucifiel and, and, and). It’s just coincidence that three out of the four names above starts with K. I have no fetish for guys with names starting from K. They just happen to be hot.

I finally learned how to do a Trading, Profit and Loss Statement because I am tired of IT. I’ve read them all and re-read several chapters and I’m sick and tired of them. I have started learning some accounting too coz accounting is the next paper. Seems like the few people I met these last couple of days told me accounting is easy. I guess when you get to it, accounting is not that bad. It’s the teachers who are. Unfortunately, we just got the suckiest of the suckiest. I mean, the people I met said their accounting teachers are wonderful!!

I want wonderful accounting teachers too!!

At least I have Hard Gay to entertain me today. Hardo gay hoooo!!!

"Have you told your father you’re grateful for him today?!?!?"

Enjoy the vid. I’m out. Ta’ra!
