Stuff here and there
Hello! Its been a while. I got back from KL a couple of days back and has been too lazy to blog hehehe. Man I miss the gym. Anyway, I went to KL with the initial intention of attending my cousin’s wedding or ‘bersanding’ since they have already got married in Miri last year. Remember that time I went to Miri? I even posted a photo. Anyway, yeah, that time. But this time its the bride’s side of the family’s kind of celebration. Although the bride is primarily Sarawakian but the fmaily lives in KL now. Thanks to my cousin (the groom) for his last minute habits, I was suddenly appointed emcee!! Luckily everything was scripted and it was not until the moment of the wedding itself that I confirmed my position as the MC.
What can I do!? I was at Sunway Pyramid having some retail therapy when stupid cousin called up and told (he basically ordered) me to come back early (if not immediately) for the wedding rehearsal. I mean, no way! The hotel shuttle won’t be arriving before 6:30 and the wedding starts at (supposedly) 7:30. He called me again two hours later but still, there’s nothing I can do so when I arrived at the hotel at five past seven, he told me some crappy instructions which I slammed back at him and then said everything’s under control and I dont have to emcee.
Good, right?
Wrong.
Knowing I didnt have to emcee, I took my time before going down to the wedding. We were all staying at the hotel the wedding was held so there’s no rush. So I waltz into the ballroom in my cotton veil and cotton baju kurong without a care in the world. Everyone else were all shiny and glittery and were, let’s just say more glamorous than I was. Suddenly…my uncle came…and I was emcee again. Gaaah!!! It was a bilingual ceremony and I had to be the Malay emcee while the English emcee is the brother in law. A lot of Caucasians too. Because the mother of the bride is an English.
Do I even LOOK like am emcee to you!? (okay I admit I look cool in there mehehehe) Next time you guys want me to emcee at least give me one day’s notice. NOT one minute notice!!(or one hour at that)
Abang Kap, if you are reading this (which is unlikely), I have a bone to pick from you.
Anyway, the morning after (wish I could say there was an after-party which there isn’t) I was so glad to be leaving that hotel. They have a Japanese restaurant that serve stuff like this which is nice. That was salmon teriyaki jyu or was it teriyaki salmon jyu…hmmm. there’s a chicken variety of it too but it was nice hehehe. We stayed there for two nights. The second night being the wedding. Looky my humble breakfast.
I mixed three types of cereals in there. One is the Fitness one, then almond flavoured grain and banana flavoured grains and some cut roasted almonds. Good stuff.
Most of the family left the hotel that day and moved on to places closer to the city or like us, smack in the middle of Star Hill! I’ll let you have a preview of our humble apartment which is a 5-6 minutes walk to Star Hill Plaza. Its pretty small with a kitchen, a laundry area, the dining and living area (which just basically merged into one), 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a small store room. the third bedroom is pretty small and without air conditioning but its alright to me. The apartment still needs a lot of stuff put up, like curtains (We use sarongs to cover up the windows -_-") a fully functional washing machine (not connected to the pipe yet) and a scoop, as in the one you use with a broom. And maybe carpets too. Throughout my time in KL my lover accompanies me.
Hmmm…by putting this pic I might potentially embarrass myself. But really, do I look like I care? I even brought along another bag just to stuff my lover. YES! I call it my lover because it goes to bed with me every night hehehehe. Its very hefty to lug around for every travel so I won’t be bringing it to anywhere anymore. I brought it with me this time because we will be away for a while. I can’t sleep well without it. And a good night’s sleep is important to me. *grins* And besides, it makes sleeping on an extra bed a little less uncomfortable. My lover has yet to betray me.
So KL trips means shopping trips. I bought about all the stuff I want. Although we did lose some stuff…*the reverie of recollection*…*fidgets*…let’s not talk about that.
Anyway, normally when I buy books out of the five books at least 2 or three will be self-help or business/management books but this time I didn’t buy a single non-fiction books. As you can see, the stuff that I bought are all what I would classify as ‘good porns’. I don’t normally include English manga in my KL shopping budget since they are way too expensive for a one-time read, but this time I bought 4 volumes of Demon Diary. Heh…not my money. It pays to put up with my baby sister just to get the use of the Amex hehehe. Other than that, yeah, I do hoard a lot of porns back from KL hehe.
I also went to TOUGH. Finally! I bought a pair of pants there and look at the fitting room!
pretty cool huh? who would have thought up of putting a toilet bowl in there lol! But that’s not a real toilet bowl though. And from the outside, the fitting room looks like a life-size freezer. If you have time, just walk into a TOUGH shop just to check out their fitting room. Hahaha!
I actually have a few more photos to put up but these are people and are of a totally different topic. But anyway, all the pics above were taken with my phone. I bet you’re surprised! (okay maybe not…) The wonders of 2.0 megaporn of camera. *sage nods* Hahahahaha! I’ll be signing off now. Ta’ra!
