Back to school…the old cliche
I’ll sum up the morning in one word.
Chaos.
I mean, the notice on the noticeboard confused me. Is there or is there not any lectures going today. Initially there is, but then? Actually, there are lectures today. And we didn’t know whether to go to lectures or go register tutorials. Tutorial classes are ‘touchy’ if I may call it. Once you made your choice, its hard to go back and change. if you change even only one tute gorup to another, chances are, you might need to change other tute classes too to avoid any clashes. So very the mafan!
But the admin just had to mafan something that’s already very mafan! For starters, registration was held in two small classes on the 6th floor. Furthermore, we had to register alongside the foundation semester 1 students who are just starting in Swinburne. If I were the new students, I would feel very…daunted. At least we know what to do and stuff. BUt them? All this confusion @_@. But I just wish them good luck and glad Im not them. When we registered for tute classes it was only us in the auditorium. But there we were, all sem 2 and sem 1 students crowded into two rooms. There were ‘civilized’ pushing and shoving and all that and we had fun cutting Gary’s line. Yes Gary, we had fun and thanks for letting us cut you. We love you. and West, I hate you. I want to shred you to pieces yes I do.
Anyway, thanks to the admins’ crappy ‘administration’ I had to change two tute classes. From IT B to C and Writing C to B. Actually I could just stick with Writing C, but since I changed IT, I have an empty morning slot on Thursday. But thanks to this change I now have only one class on Wednesday morning. Which is good. Because Wednesday and Friday is gym day. I had planned to keep Friday afternoon free too but IT C is in the way. But it finished at 4:30 so I can go to the gym right after class. Hehehe. My timetable is decided by two main factors:
a) Gym day and b) the availablity of parking spaces.
Parking spaces are best acquired in the morning at 8 am and around lunch time at 12-1 pm. But I don’t really mind parking outside Swinburne’s compound. There’s a security risk of course, but I just prayed and hope everything’s fine. Just keep anything valuable (eg handphone, handbag, discman (:P)) hidden from view (like in the boot) and you’re fine.
Gym day has been decided as Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. Until MUET is done with, there is a chance of the MUET tuition class being moved to Wednesday instead of Tuesday because there’s a clash. That might take gym time if I go slightly later in the day though. But no problem. For now heh.
I heard Swinburne has yet to have a student achieve B6 for MUET. And mr. hurt ankle got B6 at his school (and the only one too)! I won’t lose :P. I will get B6 for MUET! Mwahahahaha!
Oh man. I have a five-hour morning on Monday. This sucks, really, and I still wonder why I did it. But after the five-hour morning of four subjects, I get a two hour break before another one hour class and I can go back at 4:30. I decided that, its Monday. You’re supposed to be busy on Monday. Monday is the day you get down and dirty with business. woo sounds so serious hehe. I can sneak in snacks in between classes if I have to.
Im hungry. Well, I’m off. Ta’ra!
