Typing, Writing and Drawing

Its been a while since I started playing Suikoden Tactics. Now I’m at a point where I’m ready to enter the final dungeon. But after a long streak I did yesterday…What I meant by long streak is when you just plunge ahead with the story without bothering to level up or visit other places, I need a break. So I averted the actual storyline and ventured on some side quests. Besides, there’s an extra dungeon I’m sure is even tougher than the final dungeon. With this game you can still finish it and then start with a New Game+. You get to keep the money and the items in the inventory but your levels and skills will reset. Ah well.

Oh and did I say I have a new cabinet? Uh huh you heard right. I have a new TV cabinet and its name is Chess :D. I dont really know why I name it that. But at least Kujong has a home now. No longer will it endure the dust out in the open ^_^. It took a while to get this cabinet. I harrassed a few sales assistant to keep them in check, lest they forgot. This is the only cabinet that fits my criteria. Ohh trust me. I did my browsing. This one has a fair price and most importantly, spacing and functionality in addition to size. I am content with it :D. A welcome addition to my now-no-more-space-for-new-furniture room hehehehe. This is my last piece of furniture.

Since the start of new year I have only go out jogging once. Yes, once (I wanted to go jog yesterday too but my alarm clock didn’t go off. Honestly!) and even then it was a short run because afterwards it rained. And with summer semester, I’m turning into a sloth. I am deteriorating in mind and body here. Sure I exercise more with the added free time, but my sedentary hours outlasts my exercising hours. What a drag. And I’ve been skipping class. missing just enough so I won’t receive the letter of doom hehehhe. Not like the subject matters anyway. Free by the way.

Oh and recently I’ve been doing up my old stories. Not remaking, just continuing them. It was in a red foolscape book with the narrow lines. I used to do a lot of these and had some friends do character sheets and make up the profiles of their characters. Exclusive though. And although I am not always on good terms with the owners, I like the characters, and the story especially. They reminisce the games and stories I’ve played and read and of my thinking back then hehehe. Also, these fantasy stories often flare up during exam time or when exam is near. How very convinient huh? Just as you were reaching for that history book, ideas bubble up in your mind and you immediately write them down in the form of continuing the story, leaving your history book untouched till the end. That’s life I guess.

And that story is finally taking on new direction. Before, I had trouble putting down a central character without neglecting the others. But now I can because it doesn’t matter what the owners will say anymore because they can’t do anything about it! Mwahahaha! I still keep the characters intact and everything, but I’m more focus on the central character. Don’t have to bother writing the POV of all FIVE of them. Takes up too much unneccessary space. And besides, I’m writing them, not typing. Now that makes it three stories. I’m working on one story on the computer, this one that I’m writing and another short story comic that I draw. Now that’s making use of your hands! haha!

At least running doesn’t need you to use the hands. Balance it out you know? Talking about balance, after I cut my hair a few days before new year, I still use almost the same amount of shampoo as I would when my hair was longer. So much for saving huh? But I’ve started reducing them. So that’s good.

Now why am I telling you about my shampoo again? There’s so many brands out there you’re pretty spoiled for choice. Usually I go for the ones with the best commercials. You know, the one that catches my eyes. But not without good reviews from those who’ve used it. I know. Its vain to follow commercials. But I bet you do it too anyway!

I seem to be yapping a lot today. Oh well. Good day! Ta’ra!

Happy New Year!!!

Monday, January 2nd, 2006

Happy new year everyone! Finally - 2006! Yay! My new year celebration is…well, probably the same as yours heheh. I think having a BBQ is the national new year celebration. hahaha. However my new year came as bit slow this year. Not as much momentum as I had hoped, but it will improve over time. Time to get those resolutions to work I say!

Aahhh~ today I slept until 2 pm. Its been a while since I sleep so late since the only day I allow myself to sleep in these days is Sunday. The other days Im up early for either class or my morning jog. To be honest Im getting bored over that place. Jogging on gravel is not good for your joints. Jogging itself is not good for the joints, but its good exercise. Stupid gym worker kept disappearing each time I come over to register. Pffff!

…now that I think about it. There’s a possibility that the guy might not even there yet! It might be someone else who just comes and unlock the gym whos not the caretaker. Hmmm. Need to consider my timing here.

I’ve finished reading Eldest. What can I say? The story played right into my hands! I mean come on! Its unreasonable for an active character to die narratively and without a body. Thats an old tactic to conceal the character so it will appear in better condition later in the story. He (the author) didn’t actually think people are going to fall for that did he??

Oh and did I tell you how old this guy is? NINETEEN (19)! He started writing this trilogy at fifteen(15). Which explains a lot why this story sounds a lot like a fanboy’s writing. tsk tsk.

Okay. That subject was depressing. That book made even my fic interesting. At least when I plagiarize I made it interesting. The trilogy although now is on the second book, is like Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Dragon Rider and a few other fantasy fics rolled into one.

Okay that’s it. I’m going to watch Comic Party.

Ta’ra! And happy new year!
