A day out in town

Tuesday, June 21st, 2005

Hmm this blog thing is addictive (since its me and I like to ramble >.>) Anyway, its free so Im going to make use of it. Its been an interesting day. I went out with my friend today to get someone a birfday prezzie. It was a hrd decision, but me being the GREAT SMAP, got it! Im gonna start wrapping it soon after I put in a birfday card heh. I like birfdays. The only thing I dont like about birfdays is forgetting them :/. I even made ‘instant prezzies’ where in case there’s someone birfday coming up, I could just browse through my instant prezzies and give em :D. But the thing is, even with my GREAT memory, I forgot what I put in the prezzie. Hmmmm. Thankfully I still remember them hehehe. And they are all good prezzies okay! None of those cheapo picture frames you buy in bulk at the giftshops (no offense anyone). No, no, not me. I like giving stuff people can actually USE, not another dust holder. When I give prezzies, I think "what kind of present wouldn’t disappoint me when I open it?" Usually I end up with practical stuff. Pretty things that lasts, and you can use, like clothes etc. I’m a Taurus, can’t help but be practical >.> .

Oh and my form for the Options Trading refresher course arrived today! (wheee!) But I have until the 23rd to submit it!!! Why must these forms always come to me in the last minute?! O_O. So tomorrow I’ll be withdrawing money (from my own account *sob sob*) and go to daddyo’s office to ask Ms Tan to fax the form and the bank in slip. She’s very helpful and nice ^_^ CHEERS FOR MS TAN!!! Ahem, so tomorrow I must find a victim - I mean, a companion to accompany me to do all my chores. Btw, I met my trading mentor last wednesday. :D I managed to get him to answer all my questions but damnit I didnt take a pic! It was very memorable since Im like, the only one who came to the ‘graduates’ gathering’. But ho hum, Im not complaining :D. Ill take pics when I go to his course again. Its funny. Everyone’s busy leaving for uni and Im busy applying for this course! XD. But that’s coz I’m speshul hehehehe. Ill start class right after this course too. Oh and, before I forgot, I even got myself a new FFT disc! Yay! *huggles her cd* And that salesgirl at TJ Game shop wanted to give me a Japanese version! What the hell! Im SO not going there anymore! :P. Well, time to head out! There are people to be annoyed on IRC. Tata~!

*During the duration of this blog, I was bitten by one (1) mosquito but later killed one (1). Im like candy to them.  >.>

My Life in IRC hehehe

Monday, June 20th, 2005

So since I’m in a blogging mood, I’ll just drop a drive-by blog. Hehehe. I’ve been a frequent patron of IRC lately. I used to be extremely active in there before DAL net crashes but I returned! (Cant stay away really) and the old channels needed their old ops back so here I am hehehe. Great benefits come when you have a shiny @ badge at your nick there. One you can kick people (thats always fun hehehe) two, people are cautious when they speak to you (they dont wanna get the boot hehehe) and you make more meaningful friends that way. The thing I dislike when going on IRC are those people going around saying ‘h r u’ and ‘asl plz’ those annoyed me a lot. :P Yea you do that on purpose, Sean :P. My sis used to bash me when I complained about that saying ‘you go on IRC to make friends so whats wrong with asking asl!?’ >.< Well sure, I make friends too, but most of my friends last longer without asking asl. You see, when you ask asl, you ‘choose’ your friends. Who would wanna ‘make friends’ with a 44/m/pak anyway!? Thats why at the start of a conversation, I dont ask asl. If you really want to make real friends on IRC, you just start off the conversation talking about everyday life like…dog kicking or getting in fights with cops (ok Im kidding!) Establish that you are everyday people. A mutual understanding would occur and you can carry on talking that like you, this guy goes on the net to have a nice chat. And he/she is not choosy on who he’s talking to as long as they can have a pleasant chat. You dont straight off ask for their name, their number, their contact number, their email and whatever else before getting to know them. Asking real names online is considered sacred to IRC veterans and are NOT to be taken lightly. Seriously, I see so correlation with asking people asl and having a pleasant chat with them. The point of going IRC is to have a pleasant chat while at the same time being anonymous (thats what nicks are for, right?). So people who ask me asl pls are generally ignored hehehe. Or they may get this as a reply 43/m/pak (very useful). I used to use this 72/hermaphrodite/Madagascar though but it bring sup questions like "What is hermaphrodite?" and "What/where is Madagascar?" and also "Whats an old fart like you doing on IRC? " >.< OK maybe not the last one, but still, only an idiot would believe that you’re 72, unless you really are (I’ve met one. She was a granny to one of my friends online. An online granny! I wish my granny would go online >.>) Anyway, I think that’s all for my ramblings. I have to go workout soon. Gain stamina to take over the world! Ba bye!

Purpose??

Sunday, June 19th, 2005

Well. I think the only purpose of a blog is to bore people with boring anecdotes of your pets. But since I have no pets, I have nothing to bore you. I’m a pretty ordinary person, really. AnD I dOnT tYpE lIke ThIs so I guess its easier on the eyes (and the brain too :P). Now what shall I bore you guys with, hmm? For one, Mentos is good. So be sure to have AT LEAST one pack per day. (I dont do this though but TRUE MENTOS FANS should!) Ok that’s all. Peace out.
